We respect your privacy and we do not use it, share it or sell it to third party organizations without your written consent. The information that we collect is used to better serve our visitors.
What information is collected?
The Hotel Inventory collects user information from several areas of The Hotel Inventory’s website including:
- the ‘Registration’ area, where The Hotel Inventory collects each user’s full name, email address, and self-selected primary role in real estate;
- the ‘List with Us’ area, where The Hotel Inventory will collect a user’s full name, email address, credit card information, billing address, expiration date for billing payments and credit card authorization purposes;
- Basic Listing, Premium Listing and Featured Listing posting pages, where information regarding a user's hotel will be collected.
The Hotel Inventory will collect information regarding the property that will be advertised on the website including, but not limited to:
- Hotel Name
- Hotel Address, City, State/Territory, Country
- Hotel Details
- Hotel Financial Information
- Hotel Images
The Hotel Inventory will also collect user names and email addresses of non-registered users when said user decides to use the ‘Contact Us’ feature of the website. The Hotel Inventory collects individual user search activity for statistical, archival, and business purposes.
The Hotel Inventory may place a “cookie” in the browser files of a user’s computer. This is required by The Hotel Inventory services to provide automated features.
How is the information collected used by The Hotel Inventory?
Collected information helps The Hotel Inventory better understand its users’ needs in order to improve its product and service offerings. Email addresses are used to communicate with members through weekly email News Summaries, Promotional emails, Press Releases and for site administration purposes.
Personal information may be used to contact users for the purpose of research, product development, marketing or customer service, if the user has opted to receive such communication.
User search activity is collected and analyzed and may be utilized by The Hotel Inventory in the aggregate or in the abstract for a variety of business purposes.
Financial information is used to bill users for products and/or services purchased. This information is not shared with anyone outside of The Hotel Inventory with the exception of Paypal.com and Authorize.net, the two companies that process our credit card orders.
IP addresses and cookie log data are analyzed to better understand traffic flows and user preferences.
The information collected from the Basic Listing posting page, Premium Listing posting page and Featured Listings posting page will be the information that users will be able to view on the Property pages.
Will My Information be Shared with Anyone Else?
The Hotel Inventory values user privacy and will make reasonable effort to preserve it, but we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
When placing a listing on The Hotel Inventory, all information entered will be available to view by the public. Guest users of the site will see limited contact information. The registered user is responsible for the contact information available to the public.
The Hotel Inventory shares information within the company for the purpose of providing related services in which we deem our users have interest. Key billing information (such as credit card number, expiration date and dollar amount) gathered from users making online purchases of products or services is shared with Authorize.net, our credit card processing partner, in order to authorize charges to the credit card. We will also use Paypal services to authorize charges to credit cards. The Hotel Inventory also uses third party providers to perform email and postal mailings on behalf of The Hotel Inventory, but this information (such as name, address and email) is confidential and is not used by the provider for any other purpose.
Please be aware that in the event The Hotel Inventory merges with a third party or in the event all, or substantially all, of The Hotel Inventory’s assets are acquired by a third party, customer information, including personally identifiable information, will be shared and/or transferred to such third party. The information may only be used or shared by such third parties for the primary purpose for which the information was originally collected. If such third parties, or if The Hotel Inventory for its own business needs, desire to use the personally identifiable information for another purpose, you will be notified prior to the information being used for a new purpose, and you will have the opportunity to opt out of such new use of your personally identifiable information.
What are E-Mail Tools?
The email service on The Hotel Inventory is used for communication between the user and The Hotel Inventory regarding issues with the website, services and/or products. It is also meant to allow the users to contact sellers on the site in the event that a user is interested in a particular listing. The Hotel Inventory will not share, rent or sell your email address or email content to third party organizations. All users must note that nothing on the Internet is 100% secure and The Hotel Inventory cannot be liable for information that may be stolen. We may monitor, track or save the use of this feature but will be under no obligation to monitor, track or save these email messages sent from these tools. If you send an email using The Hotel Inventory email tool to someone who is not in our database, we do not use that email address for any purpose other than to send your email; however, the email may include an invite to view additional information found on the website. When contacting a Seller of a Property using the ‘Inquire About this Property’ feature, The Hotel Inventory will not share the Seller’s email address. Communication between Sellers and potential Buyers will use The Hotel Inventory email tools. Since Postings on The Hotel Inventory are open to the public, we must “hide” our Seller’s email addresses for their protection from Spam marketing and other unsolicited emails.
Does the Hotel Inventory have Any Security?
The Hotel Inventory will take every reasonable precaution to secure personal information within both its computers and physical premises. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter highly confidential information, such as credit card information on The Hotel Inventory’s forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Can I Opt-Out of Receiving Message from The Hotel Inventory?
The Hotel Inventory utilizes email as a vital and primary communication channel with registered users and customers. Users who do not wish to receive marketing emails from The Hotel Inventory are requested to contact The Hotel Inventory via email, or select the opt-out option by deselecting the email option from their member profile. We also send our users site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about service notices and responsibilities. Requesting the deletion of certain types of user information may prevent users from accessing some web site features.
