Tourism. The tourism industry is Scottsdale’s primary employer.  Scottsdale, in 2005, attracted 7.5 million visitors to the city, providing an economic impact of over $3.1 billion. The first resort in Scottsdale, The Ingleside Inn, opened in 1912.  The city is now home to over 70 resorts and hotels.

 

Leisure Business.  The Leuisure Business segment is the lifeblood of the Best Western Plus Papago Inn & Resort.  Many folks have been staying at this hotel for many years.  Some stay for up to 3 months at a time.  The hotel gets a lot of foreign travelers.
