The Hotel Inventory is a meeting place for hotel sellers, hotel buyers and everyone inbetween. We are NOT hotel brokers. We are a marketing firm that focuses on hotel real estate. We help hotel sellers and brokers market their properties and we help hotel investors find their next investment. We are building one of the largest hotel real estate networks in the world. What is the commission fee?
Since we are NOT real estate brokers, we do not charge a commission fee. It is free to browse The Hotel Inventory and there is a monthly fee to post properties.

How much does it cost?
An individual plan for one (1) month is $49.99. Here is our pricing table.

What comes with the subscription?
A subscription will allow you to post unlimited hotels on the website. Each posting is included in our weekly email, which is sent out to 13,000+ hoteliers. Where most, if not all, commercial real estate marketing sites have a "post & pray" model, as in post and pray something will happen, we actively market your hotels through various social media and professional networks. We also spend a great deal of time attracting traffic to our site which benefits all of our subscribers by bringing more hotel real estate investors to your properties.

What if I only have one hotel for sale, do I still have to pay the $49.99 fee?
You may opt to use one of our marketing services listed here. For example, you can feature your hotel for $25. This will place your hotel on the homepage of the site for one week and it will be included in one of our weekly emails in the Featured Hotels section. This service is also available for current subscribers.

Can I get a discount?
This must be the single most popular question that we receive. The simple answer is "YES!!!". As stated earlier, a one month subscription for a singler user is $49.99. We have discounted annual plans and we also have group rates. You can sign up with your colleagues. They can be in the same office or across the country. This option may get your subscription fees down to $20 per month! Check out our pricing structure here:

How many months do I have to sign up for?
All of our plans, other than the annual ones, are month to month.

How do I cancel?
You can cancel at anytime by calling us at 650-200-3058. We need you to call in so we can confirm that you are the account holder. The account will close at the end of the last pay period.

What if I cancel too late?
You can cancel up to the day that your payment is due where most other services require you to cancel a few days before the amount is due. We can refund your fee up to one (1) day after it is charged.

How does The Hotel Inventory help my listing?
Our main goal is to help sell your hotels by exposing it to every commercial real estate investor through a variety of marketing avenues and techniques. We spend 24 hours per day and 7 days per week marketing hotels. We know that you have a busy schedule and may not be able to do as much marketing as you would like. The more deals that you close from our efforts, then the better it is for us. We view our model as a symbiotic business system. If our efforts don't help anyone then we have no chance of staying in business. Our lifeblood is based on your success.

What are your extra marketing services?
We offer different services to increase the exposure of your property. These services are designed to make your property standout and attract visitors to your postings. You can Feature your hotel which puts your hotel on the homepage (link) or you can Promote your hotel which places the property at the top of the list of its respective "State Page" (example). Both of these are only $25 per week. Other services are listed on our pricing table page.

How do I include my posting in an email if it has already gone out once?
You can opt to Feature or Promote your property which will automatically include it in the next available weekly email. You may also choose to send out your property exclusively.

Can I send out my property without any other properties in the email?
Yes, you can opt to send out an exclusive marketing campaign. This will be a dedicated email that goes out to our registered users and to our various networks.

What are the benefits of registering?
As a registered user, you can advertise your company and services in our directory for free. You can also opt to receive our emails regarding new hotels for sale. Registered users receive an account page that holds a "Portfolio". You can save hotels that interest you into your portfolio for easy reference.

Can I advertise? Why should I advertise?
Absolutely. In the first 4 months of 2012, our ads were viewed 200,000 times. We believe it would be very beneficial for you to advertise your services. We keep track of the number of views and clicks that your advertisement receives. You can also choose where your advertisement click-through goes to.

How many of your visitors are brokers?
This is a hard question since we get so many "organic" viewers on our site and non-registered users can browse the site for free. We have no way of knowing whether those viewers are brokers or not. There are definitely several hundred registered brokers in our database but we also have thousands of non-brokers including owners, investors, REITs, management companies and portfolio managers.

In April, 2012 we received 60,000 pageviews from more than 10,000 visits.

What are your guarantees?
The only thing that we can guarantee is that we will get your property out to our networks and audience. Many of our users are very happy with our services. We get numerous testimonials regarding the successes we have provided.

Will The Hotel Inventory's existence take away traffic from my own site?
On the contrary. One of our goals is to provide you with traffic. All of your listings will have a link to your profile page and your own website. Our marketing efforts result in traffic and we share this traffic with our users, not take them away.

Will The Hotel Inventory promote For-Sale-By-Owner type listings?
Every real estate niche will have for-sale-by-owner postings. We help all hotel professionals whether they are brokers with 200 listings or owners who want to present their single property to the marketplace. Whenever we receive calls from owners who want to post, our first question is "Would you like to check our directory for a hotel broker to help you?" We are here to serve the community, not just ourselves.

I heard you post hotels on your site without the broker's permission?
Absolutely not. Our goal is to bring up-to-date and true listings to our audience. The only way to guarantee this is by having the broker post the hotel themselves. Every property is posted by a paying subscriber.
