Robert Prince founded The Hotel Inventory in 2009 to fill the need for an exclusive, online location for hotel buyers and sellers to share information. He began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 after graduating from Pepperdine University with a degree in Economics. Robert joined a hotel brokerage firm in Southern California that was national in scope. He quickly understood the business and jumped in ranks to become the Director of Marketing and Advertising. During his time there, the number of listings that he was in charge of increased from 25 properties to 100 hotels listed at any given time. Robert had to create an innovative system that allowed the company to market all of the hotels efficiently and effectively. He oversaw the creation of the company's website, created new marketing collateral, enhanced the email marketing system and published a quarterly catalog of hotels that the firm had listed. It was obvious to Robert that the marketing process that he had managed could be shared with the entire hotel community. This is how The Hotel Inventory was born.
